Engr. Afolabi Oladele

Engr. Afolabi Oladele brings over 25 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas industry and 12 years private equity practice with oversight of the energy portfolio of African Capital Alliance.

His previous experience was mostly with the Nigerian State Oil Company, the Nigerian National Petroleum Cooperation (NNPC), serving in various capabilities culminating in being appointed Group Executive Director for the Downstream Operations in 1995.

While employed with NNPC, he was seconded at different times to OPEC, Mobile Exploration USA and Total France.

Engr. Afolabi, a fellow of the Nigeria Society of Engineers, holds a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering and post-graduate certificates in Petroleum Economics and Management. He is currently a partner at the Africa Capital Alliance, managers of Premier Nigerian Private Equity Firm, Capital Alliance Nigeria. He sits on the Board of a number of international companies with activities spanning energy and engineering services.

Engr. Afolabi is a Director on the Board of DeltaAfrik Engineering Limited and President of the Board of Trustees of DeltaAfrik Charitable Foundation (the Corporate Social Responsibility arm of DeltaAfrik Engineering Limited.

He is a member of the Board of Trustees of Parah Family Foundation. Engr. Oladele is a Pastor and he is happily married with children.
